Baby Photographer Baker | Drake Turns One!

Oh, Drake!  Say it isn’t so!  You’re one already?!?!  Seems like just yesterday I was meeting you for your newborn session (and you still hold the record for most poos in a single session, lol).

I love that we’ve incorporated his handmade blanket from his sock-monkey-nursery throughout his first year (you can see some of his six month session here).   When working on his first year album it created such a lovely sense of continuity.  Drake has come to really love a certain mouse this year and his momma decided to base his birthday on the sailor version.  It made me chuckle every time she would share a new item she made or had made for his party.  Seriously, how adorable is he in that little sailor outfit!  His momma joked he’s going to hate her when he grows up, but for now let’s just focus on how ridiculously cute he is!

Let me tell ya, this boy looooooooved his cake!  It was hilarious to watch him dig right in.  What a wonderful mess!
