They grow up so very fast…..
If you’ve spent anytime looking at my newborn work, you have probably realized I work pretty closely with the incrdibly talented Beautiful Ewe. I’m fortunate to live in the same town as the owner, Aimee, and we’ve watched each others’ businesses grow with much delight. If you haven’t met her, trust me when I say she’s a generous, sweet spirit…and one of my favorite people. I am lucky to count her among my friends.
The first time I spoke with Joanna by phone the idea of conducting her maternity shoot at Fort Pickens and the Gulf Islands National Seashore State Park was first discussed. There is no way I could have ever imagined the incredible beauty we’d create. This is one beautiful woman, inside and out. And her husband is pretty handsome and funny as well…. 😉 (more…)
Working with this family is so much fun! I met them last fall during our Christmas mini-sessions and hoped I’d be seeing them again in the future.

We were out in the worst part of the day, with that harsh sun and rising temps, and they were troopers. I’m wishing I’d brought my strobe with me, but I didn’t want to be that obnoxious photographer with a huge softbox out in a field. Lesson learned, don’t be afraid to be obnoxious!
