I’m a bit behind in blogging, again – I know, I know…somehow I never manage to keep current! – so I apologize to those waiting to see their sessions that I am bumping sweet Miss Ava to the front, but her daddy had to leave for work for a few months.  I had no idea he was heading out, or else I would have tried to turn around their session even more quickly.  But, alas, in between Ava’s newborn session and their ordering session he had to say goodbye for a bit.  So, I wanted to share this as soon as possible so that he could see it from many, many, many miles away.

I loved pretty much each and every image from Ava’s session as I was shooting.  Once I got to editing, I was fairly smitten.  Presenting her gallery to her sweet momma and Granny, well, my heart just burst with joy.  I never tire of these itty bitties.  Their precious little features, their flaky skin, their gassy smiles.  I love it all.  Even if my brand new fabrics get soiled within the first ten seconds of having a baby on them!  It’s an amazing job I get to do.  I am so grateful for my awesome clients…for their trust in me to handle their precious babies and document this truly special time in their family histories.  Seriously, folks, you rock!

I don’t typically share full galleries here, but this is definitely a very special situation.  Thank you, sir, for your service to our country.  I hope this little slideshow helps you feel a bit closer to home, if only for a few minutes.
