The best time to reserve your due date is during your second trimester.  A limited number of due dates are available each month and advance reservation guarantees a spot on my calendar and a greater ability to customize your session to match any desired theme/color scheme.  In addition, we can establish a wish-list registry for your family and friends. If your baby has already been born, I will do my absolute best to get you scheduled, but my calendar does fill several weeks to months in advance so I cannot guarantee availability.

Newborn photography is my heart. There is almost nothing in the world that touches me more than those first incredible days of life.

I find that I am drawn toward neutral/muted colors and delicate accessories, resulting in a simple, understated style with your baby the focus of every image.  I am committed to providing a safe and caring environment for your most precious treasure, having invested in intensive training with some of the industry’s most respected and talented mentors.

Sessions center around featuring your newest family member, and I definitely encourage parents and siblings to step in front of the camera as well – if I could require it of all new moms, I probably would!

Please note that newborn sessions for full-term, healthy babies are scheduled when baby is just 5-21 days new and take place in my second floor studio at my dog-friendly home.  If you have a severe canine allergy, please be aware of our dog-friendly status.

 

NEWBORN SESSIONS

We are a full-service photography studio, providing you with heirloom quality products that you will treasure today and for generations to come.
All newborn portrait sessions include: pre-consultation at the studio, if desired; use of props, fabrics, and accessories; time and talent of photographer

$100 NON-REFUNDABLE session retainer required to confirm your due date.
Package balance due two weeks prior to due date, or 72 hours prior to session if baby arrives early.

{Heirloom Newborn Session}

This traditional session-only offering is perfect for those discerning clients who value archival-quality products, who aim to see these memories displayed throughout their homes, and who prefer to entrust us with quality control over all printed products, ready-to-display wall portraits, album and announcement design – so that new mommas are not trying to do these things during the 3am feeding.

In addition to album and announcement design services, we offer wall portrait design assistance and can provide you with display ideas to-scale for the walls you wish to adorn with your precious memories.  Printed products are our passion, and we strive to ensure your images do not simply end up on a failed hard drive or on a USB in the junk drawer.  Albums and Wall Portrait purchases do include digital files as well, so you will have access to images for personal scrapbooking, sharing online, and gifting prints to family members.  These are your tangible memories, print them!

• 3 hour studio session (on average) – typically includes 8-12 poses [always baby dependent], including parent/sibling, fabric poses, and/or prop poses

• Wish to include your family pet? We welcome furry siblings as well!  ***Must be discussed/arranged in advance.  Furry Siblings must be housebroken, up to date on shots/vaccinations, bathed/groomed (including trimmed nails), and get along well with other dogs.***

Blessed with multiples?

While you may have triple the diaper expense, or two college tuitions to worry about, your newborn portraits will cost exactly as quoted above!
We never charge extra for extra blessings.

 

*All print/product purchases are subject to 6% FL State Sales Tax, which will be added to your total (print credits can not be used to offset sales tax rate).   Gift Certificates are available, so be sure to let your friends and family know you are planning newborn portraits with neda’s notions photography and that they can contact me to purchase gift certificates towards your package cost, or refer them here!

**Sessions located more than 15 miles from the studio are subject to additional travel fee.

Every session includes a pre-session consultation, if desired, so that we can get to know each other a bit, to discuss what poses you wish to attempt during the newborn session, and discuss color schemes/props that you would like me to utilize when styling the session.  I do my best to customize each session with unique touches based on our consultation.

From initial contact through private viewing session, I typically dedicate 20+ hours to capturing your precious itty bitty, including the session itself and image editing.  Each image produced during your newborn session represents hours of preparation and work before, during and after the session (along with some bodily fluids and a load of laundry or two!); countless time spent in education to learn the craft; many thousands of dollars worth of equipment to capture, edit and store your memories; and time spent away from my family to serve you with the utmost attention and care.
