It seems almost impossible to believe that Darlene is expecting twin boys when you look at these images. Not only is she stunning and petite, but her pregnancy is contained all in the cutest little belly!
They were looking to add one more family member, when they were blessed with two. Identical boys. How fun!*
We met at the beach to find a beautiful sunset about to begin. Beautiful family + stunning sunset = gorgeous mini maternity session. This family was such a joy to work with, and I’m not just saying that to be nice! I can tell you that these boys are going to have the most loving big sister. She already adores her older brother (maybe a bit to his dismay) and I know she’s going to take good care of her little ones. She was so sweet as to even ask me to join them for dinner after the session! I kinda like that girl……
Darlene is as brave as she is beautiful. She encountered some curious glances on the beach when she changed into a lovely, sheer maternity gown and waded out in to the water. The result was just perfect. I love these gowns, either for in-studio minis or on-location. I just knew the ivory one would be gorgeous on the beach. Darlene rocked it!
*At the time this post is published (yes, I’m a bit behind on blogging…again), the boys have arrived and both have been released from the NICU. Can’t wait to introduce you to them when they are released! Thoughts and prayers to them, their parents, and their adorable siblings!
