Family Photographer Crestview | The Bobbitt Family

One of the biggest compliments I can think of is when family comes back to me for updated portraits. As the wildflowers bloomed this spring at one of my favorite spots in Laurel Hill, several of my favorite families snagged up the few available spots for some very special sessions. First up, the Bobbitt family.

I adore these folks. Seriously. Every time we have a session I swear we spend more time before and after visiting than we do actually shooting! I first met them when their baby girl made her grand entrance in to the world as my first newborn of 2013, and they have flattered me by coming back several times since in the past fifteen months. While Little Miss is always so very serious for my camera, despite every trick in the book we can muster, they are truly some of the friendliest people I know and she really is full of smiles…every time I put my camera down. *facepalm*  But she did grant me one big smile this time around.  Well, maybe that smile was for her momma, but I’ll sure take it because momma-and-daughter shots are simply too precious for words.

As the heat of the summer makes it way in to each day, I am longing to be back in this field among the fleeting burst of color during the comfortable days of spring….
