Every newborn session is a gift. Every baby is beautiful. I say this a lot, I know. But, really, Miss Elizabeth is seriously one of the most beautiful babies and she is a tremendous blessing to her parents. My heart smiles.

I first met Elizabeth’s parents for their maternity session last fall – yes, I am simply terrible at blogging…I really must make it more of a priority – and her momma just glowed! After every outdoor maternity sessions I feel like they all need to be outside…and then after every studio maternity session I feel like they all need to be in studio. I guess that just means both are perfect! I love that I can offer both and that I always have the studio to offer when weather simply doesn’t cooperate or for mommas who want a private and intimate setting. Elizabeth’s momma rocked her session in the country!

I always offer for mommas to pamper themselves at the studio during the newborn session. No need to stress about hair and makeup while trying to get out the door. Come on over and relax a bit while I’m working and sneaking those precious baby snuggles. Not only does this give new mommas a few moments to themselves, but it also give means the images I take while momma is primping are a wonderful surprise during the gallery reveal. It’s my favorite! When those tender tears are shed, I know I’ve done my job and I seriously loved sharing in that moment with Elizabeth’s momma. I am so lucky to do this work…..
