Baby Photography Crestview | Harper Turns One!

With every cake smash, I take a moment to send up a little prayer for time to slow down a bit. I know it won’t happen, but these babies just grow so.dang.fast! It is so bittersweet to see them graduate the baby plan. Miss Harper was no exception. I adore her and her sweet family so much.

Shortly after Harper’s newborn session her family moved up to Auburn. I was so flattered when her momma said they still wanted to be in the baby plan for Harper’s first year. As luck would have it, I had a newborn mentoring session with Amy McDaniel of Dewdrops Photography in nearby Opelika right around the time of Harper’s six month portraits. Amy was the absolute sweetest and offered me the use of her studio after we finished up on the second day to take Harper’s pictures there. Generosity like that is sometimes a rare thing among photographers, and this just speaks to Amy’s support of her students and desire to see them each succeed.

When it came time for Harper’s twelve month portraits, her family scheduled a weekend trip down our way to visit with friends and we squeezed in her session in between rain showers, during seriously steamy weather.  Holy hazy day, batman!

Happy birthday, sweet girl!  You are so loved!  I hope all of your birthday wishes always come true.
