Baby Photographer Destin | Josie at Six Months

Sweet baby Josie came up from Destin to see me for her six month portraits. I simply love watching these Itty Bitty Baby planners grow, and getting to catch up with their parents is always fun.  I kinda already can’t wait to see her again for her nine month portraits and then for her first birthday!  So fun!

We knew we would be incorporating a few nursery items and touches from her newborn session, and when Josie’s mom said she had just finished a quilt made from her granny’s dresses, I knew it was going to be a must-have.  I remember my sweet Nana in her housecoats and I truly wish I’d thought of saving them to make something like this (although, I’m not crafty, but really wish I were!!!).  What a wonderful way to preserve those memories and pass down a piece of family history to the next generation.  I can imagine Josie over the years listening to her momma tell stories of Granny while snuggled up in the quilt.  Priceless.  Oh, and check her out in the perfectly on-trend coral-and-mint ensemble…I get to work with the most fashionable babies!
