I can’t lie, I was very excited to meet newborn baby girl Harper!  Having met her momma back in February, we had lots of time to look forward to this session…and I definitely managed to hoard quite a bit of girly props during that time.  I love the elegant and feminine birth announcement we designed!

I cannot get over how much she looks like her big brother (and isn’t he the sweetest giving her a kiss below?!?!?).  This family is all about the Auburn Tigers, so we managed to sneak in a theme setup – many thanks to several of my clients who had gear to lend!  Gah, there is something simply delicious about a newborn baby with rolls like Miss Harper’s.  I’m not quite sure how her petite momma gave birth to this nearly 9lb baby girl!

At the risk of repeating myself, I have to say I am blessed with the best newborn parents!  Harper’s mom and dad were so relaxed, and we had fun with some silly shots along the way.  Yes, newborn sessions can include silliness!

I was sad to learn that the family was moving away just shortly after her session, but I am thrilled that they enrolled in a first year plan anyway.  Can’t wait to see Miss Harper again for her six month session!
