One of the joys of being a newborn photographer is getting to meet expectant mommas during the course of their pregnancies. Maybe not every lady is loving herself as her body changes and grows with the new life inside of her, but when an expectant momma does step in front of the camera something magical is sure to happen.

I cannot wait to meet baby Liam for his newborn portrait session in a few weeks! In the meanwhile, here are some gorgeous photos of his momma from her 36th week of pregnancy. The weather in our neck of the woods has been a tad too chilly to head outside in nothing but a gorgeous lace gown, but it’s amazing what can be achieved in a small space inside. Oh, and I was less than 100% the day we met, but it really doesn’t matter because she rocked this maternity session!!!! I promptly fell in to bed within an hour of her leaving and didn’t get back out for two days. Absolutely.worth.it.

Can I just tell you how envious I am of her hair? Seriously. I would need extensions to get that gorgeous mane! (I have this crazy dream that someday I’m going to have long, flowing chestnut hair…and if you’ve ever met me you know I can barely stand it when my hair reaches my shoulders….)
